The Maharashtra State Council for Examination successfully conducted the Maharashtra TET-2017 Exam on 22nd July. The MSEC notified about the Maha TET 2017 in June. The Council received applications from 15th June to 30th June. MSCE received around 3 lakh applications.
The admit cards of Maha TET 2017 were released on 10th July on the Council’s official website.
The Maha TET 2017 was conducted in two shifts, the first from 10:30 AM to 2 PM and the second from 2 PM to 4:30 PM. In the first shift Paper I was conducted and in the second shift, Paper II was conducted. The Paper I consisted of 150 Multiple Choice Questions from the topics – (a) Language I, (b) Language II, (c) Child Development and Pedagogy, (d) Mathematics, and (e) Environmental Studies. The Paper II consisted 90 questions from topics (a), (b) and (c) along with 60 questions any one of the topics Mathematics/Science/Social Science. Both the papers carried a weightage of 150 marks. The Paper I was for aspiring teachers from Class I to V. While Paper II was for aspiring teachers from Class VI to VIII.
Now that the exam has been conducted the MSCE will issue the answer keys (Uttarsuchi) for Maha TET 2017 within three days. Before that several of the premier coaching institutes will also release their own answer keys. The Maha TET 2017 answer keys will be released on the MSCE official website www.mahatet.in.
Any objections in the answer keys will be received by the MSCE. The final answer keys will be released after that.
The results of Maha TET 2017 will be declared by the first week of September.
The candidates securing 60% and above Maha TET 2017 will be declared qualified. The MSCE is only responsible for conducting Maha TET. After that, the appointments are made by the Government which will be conducted afterwards.

The expected Cut-offs for MAHA TET-2017 based on the inputs of the exam takers and educationists hint at a lower rage as the examination was tougher as compared to the last year, for a detailed insight we will provide more inputs in after the Answer Key assessments are done.
