SSC CPO Result 2017 or SSC SI (Sub Inspector) 2017 Result will be declared by Staff Selection Commission for the candidates who appeared for Paper 1 exam which was held from 1st of July, 2017 to 7th of July, 2017.

Post declaration of the result forPaper-1, Paper-2 will be conducted on the 8th of October, 2017. The exam is a key to one of the key defence sector jobs in India, and the exam seeks to test a candidate’s efficiency in practical fields like Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language along side the physical ability of the candidate.
A Peek into the Exam:
SSC CPO 2017 Tier 1 (paper 1) was conducted between 1st to 7th July.
This year’s SSC CPO Tier-1 exam 2017 was moderate in the level analysis which implies a higher cut-off rate as compared to last year. Quantitative Aptitude section was of Moderate difficulty Level, questions from mensuration were tricky and demanded more time. Rest of the questions from different topics required calculations and were also based on formulae. English language section was good, it comprised of 2 Reading Comprehensions with 5 questions each. Questions based on One word substitution and Antonym/Synonym were difficult. In the General Awareness section questions were majorly from Science, if a candidate has knowledge about Science then it would be easy for him/her. General Intelligence questions were very easy and candidate found this section to be the easiest.
Now, SSC CPO 2017 Tier 2 (paper 2) will be conducted on 8th of July, 2017. Candidates who qualify the Tier 1 will be appearing for Tier 2.
It is necessary for a candidate to clear both these papers in order to be eligible for the further rounds conducted by SSC for SSC CPO 2017.
The admit card for Paper-2 will be released on 1st October 2017

Admit Card for SSC CPO 2017 Paper-2 will be issued to the candidates who have qualified Paper-1 as well as the PST, PET and Medical Test.
Declaration of SSC CPO Result 2017 (paper 1) is to be announced in a while. The candidates who appeared in the exam (Paper 1) may check their result by following the regional links on the SSC website. Final selection for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF will be done on basis of Paper I and Paper II performance.
The merit list will be prepared in the descending order of the marks obtained by candidates in Paper-1, Paper-2 and the physical and medical test.
The results shall be declared anytime in the month of October, 2017.
