The Union Public Service Commission on 24th of April, 2017 notified 702 vacancies for medical professionals to be hired for posts as per the following,
(a)Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways – 450
(b) Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories
Health Services – 26
(c) Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services – 216
(d) General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council 02
(e) General Duty Medical Gr.-II in East Delhi Municipal
Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South 16
Delhi Municipal Corporation.
Pursuant to the notification the interested candidates have filled in the application forms by 19th of May, 2017, now it is time for the examination to be conducted.
The examination shall be held at the allotted centres across India on the basis of first apply and first allot basis.
The examination shall be conducted on 19-08-2017, in two sittings.
The admit cards of the same shall be available on the following tentatively from 22-07-2017, with a shift of barely two days ahead as the notification mandates the issue of admit cards 3 weeks prior to the date of exam.

This link will also provide the candidates with a mock computer based examination on the lines of the actual exam to be conducted by the UPSC.
The candidates might find this very useful to get themselves well versed with the technical demands of the CBT.
The candidates shall not be permitted to change their examination centres and will also not be allowed to carry their mobile phones at the centre.
The results of the exam shall be declared in the months of September or October, 2017 tentatively.
The candidates in the meanwhile shall keep these documents ready
(a)Certificate of Age.
(b) Certificate of Educational Qualification.
(c) Certificate in support of claim to belong to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled
Tribe and Other Backward Classes where applicable.
(d) Certificate in support of claim for age/fee concession, where applicable.
(e) Certificate in support of being physically handicapped (where applicable).
(f) Certificate of eligibility for grant of age relaxation for ad-hoc doctors of
Ministry of Railways.
